The corrugated box stitching machine is a converting machine for corrugated box making. The corrugated board goes through printing, slotting, and creasing processes to form a box blank. The box blank is folded along the creasing lines. The flaps overlap at the joint. The stitching head uses metal stitching wire to stitch the box and secure it. The semi-automatic twin head stitcher uses two stitching heads and is driven by four servo motors. It is suitable for stitching joints on two-piece corrugated boxes, irregular corrugated cartons, and large corrugated cartons.

The pedal-operated stitcher uses a foot pedal to control the stitching. The carton is manually fed into the stitching position. It is simple to operate and suitable for standard corrugated boxes.

As an important machine in corrugated box making, the carton stitching machine works in a way similar to a stapler. It uses a tooth-shaped anvil to support the carton blank and stitch the overlapping flaps together to close the box.
The corrugated box blank enters the stitching machine through the feeding system. It is then sent to the stitching area. Different models use different feeding methods.
During feeding, the feeding system guides and positions the box blank. It keeps it in the correct folding position during conveying. Then the overlapping flap enters the stitching area accurately.
The carton blank is folded along the creasing lines so that the joint flaps overlap correctly. Depending on the machine model, the carton blank is manually or mechanically guided into the stitching position.
The overlapping flap enters the stitching position. The stitching head drives the stitching wire into the overlapping part. The stitching wire fixes the overlapping parts together. The box is then formed.
Stable Feeding
Different AGICO PAPER carton box stitching machines use different feeding systems. The automatic model uses vacuum feeding with belt assistance. Some semi-automatic models use servo-controlled feeding. These help keep the carton blank stable and feed it into the stitching position accurately.
