A removable cassette at the heart of the line

The cassette single-facer is a corrugator machine primarily used to produce single-face corrugated board. It is suitable for corrugated board production lines requiring frequent flute changes.

Compared with the fingerless single-facer, the cassette-type places the corrugating rolls and forming parts in a single removable unit. When changing the corrugating roll, the operator can replace the complete cassette unit instead of removing individual corrugating rolls. With this structural design, the single-facer with cassette can achieve a quick 10-15-minute flute change, reducing downtime and simplifying the operating process.

Main Features of AGICO Cassette Single-Facer

To meet the different corrugated board production requirements, AGICO PAPER’s cassette single-facer has an optimized structural design, stable performance, and easy operation. The main features are as follows.

Stable Corrugation Forming

The equipment uses a positive and negative pressure control design, combined with a hydraulic system and pneumatic bladder control. It also provides stable control of the corrugating roll and pressure roll. This air pressure design helps maintain stable flute forming during high-speed operation.

Precise Glue Application Control

The glue application amount can be electrically adjusted according to production requirements. When the main machine stops, the gluing system can still operate independently. It reduces glue solidification issues and makes daily maintenance easier.

Easy Cleaning and Maintenance

The movable glue application system allows operators to easily perform cleaning, inspection, and routine maintenance, making equipment maintenance more convenient.

User-Friendly Operation and Control

The equipment uses a touchscreen control interface. Operators can easily adjust equipment operating parameters and improve operation efficiency.

Paper Conditioning System

The machine is equipped with a built-in preconditioner and spray system, helping to adjust the temperature and moisture of the corrugating medium. It helps adjust paper processing conditions and improve flute forming stability.

Durable Corrugating Roll Design

Our corrugating rolls are made of high-quality alloy steel. They also undergo heat treatment and surface treatment to improve wear resistance and extend the service life.

Cassette Quick Change System

Why can the cassette single facer achieve quick flute changes? That's because it uses the modular cassette design. You don’t need to remove individual corrugating rolls. AGICO PAPER summarizes the cassette change process as follows: 4 steps.

Step 1: Remove the Complete Cassette Unit

First, release the cassette locking device. Then, move the complete corrugated roll cassette out of the machine along the guide rails.

Step 2: Electric Cart Assistance

Place the new cassette unit on the electric auxiliary cart. Then, move the cassette unit to the installation position with the cart.

Step 3: Hydraulic Locking and Positioning

When the new cassette is installed in position, the hydraulic system ensures accurate positioning and clamping, and the mechanical locking mechanism firmly secures the cassette to the machine base for stable operation.

Step 4: Flute Change Completion

After finishing the cassette installation and the equipment is adjusted, the machine can resume production. The complete cassette change process takes approximately 10–15 minutes.

Why Choose AGICO Cassette Single Facer

Quick Flute Change

Using the AGICO PAPER cassette single facer, you can achieve a flute change in 10-15 minutes. This is achieved by replacing the complete cassette unit, which reduces your time spent on roll removal and adjustment. It also helps lower machine downtime and improve production efficiency.

Lower Labor Cost

This cassette design allows you to replace the whole cassette unit without complex disassembly and installation. Modular changeover eliminates manual adjustment work and makes operation easier for your operators. It also improves your production stability by reducing installation errors.

Easy Maintenance

The cassette-type structure makes daily maintenance easier. You can quickly access the corrugating unit for inspection and cleaning, which helps reduce maintenance time and keeps the machine running stably.

Longer Service Life

The cassette unit is designed as a closed unit. It can better protect key components such as corrugating rolls. It also reduces wear during long-term operation. Combined with a stable control system, it helps maintain reliable machine operation during long-term production.
