A corrugated rotary die cutter machine is used to die-cut corrugated board into box blanks. It is a type of corrugated box die-cutting machine. The rotary die is mounted on the die-cutting roll and works with the anvil roll. The rolls rotate continuously to cut and crease the corrugated board. The machine finally processes the board into corrugated box blanks in the required shapes. Compared with a flatbed die-cutting machine, the rotary die cutter for corrugated boxes uses continuous die-cutting and creasing. This allows it to run at high speed, making it suitable for medium- to high-volume production.
AGICO PAPER offers rotary die cutters for corrugated box production. By changing the die, the machine can produce corrugated box blanks in different shapes. These include designs with special contours, handle holes, and ventilation holes. Customers can choose the right model and configuration based on their actual board size, box structure, and production volume.
Whether you need equipment for a new corrugated box manufacturing factory or want to add a standalone die-cutting machine to an existing corrugated box production line, you can provide AGICO PAPER with box samples, blank dimensions, and your expected production volume. We can help you select the right rotary die cutter configuration based on your actual production needs.

Key Features of AGICO Corrugated Rotary Die Cutters
Accurate Feeding
Independent Servo Drive
AGICO PAPER uses a German servo system to control the feeding wheels. The independent servo motor helps reduce transmission errors. You can adjust the feeding speed and timing to suit different production needs.
Vacuum-Assisted Feeding
The machine also has a vacuum-assisted feeding system. The feeding pressure can be adjusted to suit different board conditions. It supports both continuous and skip feeding to meet the needs of different orders.
Stable and Durable
The drive gears undergo high-frequency heat treatment, surface hardening, and precision grinding. It works with an automatic spray lubrication system to reduce friction and wear during continuous operation. The rolls are made of steel. They are tempered, ground, hard chrome plated, and dynamically balanced. Hard chrome plating helps protect the roll surfaces from wear. Dynamic balancing helps reduce vibration when the rolls rotate at high speeds.
Reduce Die-Cutting Costs
Imported die-cutting pads are used to ensure good wear resistance and easy replacement. During continuous die-cutting, the pads repeatedly come into contact with the cutting dies. Their wear resistance affects how often they need to be replaced and the replacement cost.
Easy Adjustment
The left and right side guides are adjusted via the computer control system, making order switching quick and easy. When changing board sizes, operators can set the guide positions through the control system. This reduces the need for repeated manual adjustments and makes it easier to switch between orders with different board sizes.

Main Configurations of Rotary Die Cutter for Corrugated
AGICO PAPER rotary die cutters use a servo-driven leading-edge feeding system. The machine consists of a feeding system, die-cutting system, drive and lubrication system, and electrical control system. The details of each system are listed below.
Feed System
Feed Structure
The machine uses a servo-driven leading-edge feeding system. An independent servo motor drives the feeding wheels. The system is also equipped with vacuum-assisted feeding.
Feeding Adjustment
The feeding air pressure can be adjusted according to the board conditions.
Side Guide Adjustment
The left and right side guides are adjusted through the computer control system to accommodate different board sizes.
Die-Cutting System
Die-Cutting Roll
The die-cutting roll holds the curved die. The die is selected according to the box blank design to cut board outlines, create holes, and form creasing lines.
Anvil Roll
The anvil roll is fitted with imported die-cutting pads on its surface. It works with the die-cutting roll to perform soft-cut die-cutting. The pads can be removed and replaced.
Hydraulic Lateral Movement
The anvil roll has a hydraulic lateral movement range of 40 mm. This allows the die to contact different areas of the pad.
Electrical Control System
The machine uses a servo system to drive the feeding wheels independently. The feeding process works in coordination with die-cutting.
Drive and Lubrication System
Gear Drive
The machine uses gear transmission. The drive gears undergo high-frequency heat treatment, surface hardening, and precision grinding.
Roll Processing
The rolls are tempered, surface-ground, hard chrome plated, and dynamically balanced for continuous operation.
Automatic Lubrication System
The drive system is equipped with an automatic spray lubrication system. It lubricates the gears and other drive components during operation to reduce friction and wear.
The core components of a corrugated rotary die cutter are the die-cutting roll and the anvil roll, both of which have a cylindrical structure. During operation, the feeding system feeds the corrugated board between the die-cutting roll and the anvil roll. The two rolls work together to process the board.
1. Die Preparation
Make a curved die according to the corrugated box blank design. Then install the cutting blades and creasing rules in the designed positions. Next, fix the die onto the die-cutting roll.
2. Board Feeding
The servo-driven leading-edge feeding system and vacuum-assisted feeding work together to feed the corrugated board into the die-cutting area. Operators can adjust the side guides according to the board size.
3. Rotary Die Cutting
The die-cutting roll and anvil roll rotate against each other. The cutting blades cut the board along the required outlines, while the creasing rules form creasing lines at the corresponding positions.
4. Finished Blank Output
The die-cut board comes out of the machine. Depending on the box design, excess material can be removed in a separate waste-stripping process to produce the finished box blank. The blank then moves on to folding, gluing, or stitching.
Applications of Corrugated Rotary Die Cutting Machines
AGICO PAPER rotary die cutters use different dies to process corrugated box blanks in various shapes. They can cut special outlines, create holes, and form creasing lines. The processing range depends on the machine's die-cutting size, board specifications, and die design.
Custom-Shaped Corrugated Boxes
Used to produce corrugated box blanks with special outlines, tuck flaps, and other non-standard shapes.
Ventilated Corrugated Boxes
Ventilation holes can be cut into corrugated board for boxes used to transport fruits, vegetables, and other products that need airflow.
Corrugated Display Trays
The machine cuts the tray outlines and forms creasing lines according to the design. The blank can then be folded into a display tray.
Why Choose AGICO PAPER
Match production needs
Customers can provide the unfolded diagram of the corrugated carton, the board dimensions and thickness, and the target output. AGICO PAPER uses this information to check the feeding range, effective die-cutting size, and configuration, and confirm the appropriate machine model and configuration. This helps customers choose the right models.
We use corrugated board to test the corrugated rotary die cutter machine before shipment to check the feeding, cutting, and other conditions. We also provide photos and videos of the machine tests to help customers learn about the operating status of the equipment before delivery.
After-Sales Technical Support
AGICO PAPER provides the machine operation manual to help customers learn about daily inspections, including paper feeding adjustment, die replacement, and rubber pad replacement. When there are questions about the equipment, customers can provide photos. Our engineer checks the problem based on the photos and provides a solution.
