Corrugator Bridge is used for conveying, lifting, and temporarily storing single-face corrugated board. It is an important unit in a corrugated board production line. It connects the single facer and double backer, helping cut unexpected downtime and paper piling, and keeps production running stably.
Why do you need it on your line? Simply put, it keeps everything balanced. It mainly connects the single facer and double backer, keeping board operation stable. It also reduces overall operational risks and material losses. Its working process can be broken down into the following steps.


Board Receiving
The single-face corrugated board produced by the single facer enters the corrugator bridge. Then it is transported via the conveying device to the subsequent processes.
Tension Control & Alignment
The tension control system adjusts board conveying tension. It works together with the correction device to fix lateral offset and avoid board wandering and edge damage.
Buffer Storage
Single-face board forms a certain amount of temporary storage on the bridge. This storage offers a buffer for production processes. The buffer helps balance speed differences between the single facer and double backer. Speed fluctuations will cause less downtime and paper piling in this case.
Feeding to Double Backer
After stable conveying and position adjustment, the single-face board gets sent to downstream stations. The material finally enters the double backer to finish paper surface adhesion.
Flexible Operation
AGICO PAPER Corrugator Bridge has operation control points both on-bridge and under-bridge. Operators can perform monitoring at different positions. The unit comes with an electric automatic alignment device. It can adjust single-face board position automatically. It replaces heavy manual positioning and shifting work, cutting on-site labor costs.
Efficient Conveying
The unit uses a special PVC belt with high friction and good air permeability. This belt holds single-face board firmly. It keeps transfer smooth without slipping. Conveying speed can be adjusted steplessly based on whole-line production speed. It satisfies the needs for continuous production.
Solid Structure
The main frame is made by welding heavy-duty channel steel, I-beams, and columns. Its overall structure is stable and sturdy. Key components such as the paper-pulling shaft and paper-conveying shaft have been precisely ground and treated with hard-chrome plating. These components have extremely high wear resistance. It includes standard safety guardrails and access ladders for daily operation and maintenance.
Precise Board Alignment
Gear-motor-driven guide rails are installed on the corrugator bridge. The rails can be adjusted according to the running position of a single-face board to keep the board conveyed at the center. This reduces board deviation and greatly lowers edge damage and material loss.
Bridge Frame Structure
AGICO PAPER overhead corrugator bridge frame uses heavy-duty materials, including channel steel, I-beams, and columns. These materials form a stable main frame. Safety guardrails and access ladders are fitted on the frame.
Variable Frequency Lifting System
The unit is fitted with an independent variable-frequency motor for driving the lifting mechanism. A PVC conveyor belt carries single-face board during transport.
Vacuum Adsorption System
The overhead corrugator bridge is equipped with high-pressure centrifugal fans and adsorption ducts. Operators can adjust air volume for adsorption-tension control.
Automatic Correction Device
The equipment has an electric correction device. It includes correction baffles, guide columns, and screw-drive mechanisms for board position adjustment.
Conveyor Roller System
This system mainly contains upper paper rollers, tension rollers, conveying rollers, active tension rollers, and pass-through rollers. These rollers complete the lifting and transport of single-face board.
Operation Control System
Multiple operation control panels are installed on the equipment. They control the lifting mechanism, fans, correction baffle movement, and other equipment adjustments.
