Working Process of Thin-Blade Slitter Scorers

The machine uses thin blades for longitudinal slitting and creasing wheels for creasing wide corrugated board. The process consists of three steps: feeding and pre-creasing, thin-blade slitting, and creasing. The machine then cuts the board into the required widths and creates clear creasing lines for folding.

Step 1: Feeding and Pre-Creasing

After the corrugated board enters the equipment, the board is smoothly fed in by the feed and pull rollers and embossing wheels, ensuring it passes through at a consistent speed. The pre-creasing wheels pre-condition the board and relieve internal stress. This helps reduce burst corners and cracking during the subsequent creasing process.

Step 2: Thin-Blade Slitting

The thin blades slit the board longitudinally at the preset positions and trim the edges, producing the required board widths.

Step 3: Creasing

The creasing wheels press longitudinal creasing lines at the preset positions. These lines provide accurate folding positions for carton forming. AGICO PAPER equipment supports different creasing patterns for different board materials and layers. The creasing pattern can be switched electrically to meet different production needs.
