Cost-Effective Production
Compared with complete corrugated board production lines, AGICO PAPER’s 2-ply corrugated line requires less investment and provides an economical solution for single-face corrugated board production.
A 2-ply corrugated line, also called a single-facer production line, is the basic production line used to manufacture single-face corrugated board. This line is used to produce single-face corrugated board consisting of a linerboard and corrugated medium. The single-facer line consists of a single facer machine, a mill roll stand, a preheater, a glue machine, a cutting machine, and a stacker. AGICO PAPER’s single-facer corrugated board production line produces high–quality single-face board. This board is widely used in protective packaging and cushioning materials.
Currently, packaging demand for e-commerce and industrial packaging is steadily rising. A single-facer production line has low investment cost, strong adaptability to raw materials, and quick order changeover capability. It is popular with new packaging factories and small-scale producers. AGICO PAPER supplies automatic 2 Ply corrugated lines and semi-automatic 2 Ply corrugated lines, and we can offer a customization solution according to different budget requirements and production capacities.
An automatic single-facer corrugated line is suitable for large-scale production. This corrugated board line is used in large carton factories, logistics packaging centers, or as the downstream supporting workshop in packaging manufacturers.
Operating Characteristics: This line supports a wide range of board sizes and continuous 24-hour production.
Production Specifications: The width of production lines ranges from 1600 to 2200 mm, and their highest production speed can reach 150m/min.
A semi-automatic 2-ply corrugated production line is suitable for flexible production and a small packaging factory. This production line mainly relies on manual adjustment of parameters and is suitable for short-run orders with frequent changes.
Operating Characteristics: This production line is mainly used for producing rush orders, scattered small orders, as well as single-faced boards with different board thickness requirements.
Equipment Selection Reference: AGICO PAPER offers three rated web widths: 1200 mm/1400 mm /1600 mm. The 1200 mm and 1400 mm models support A, C, B, and E flute profiles. The 1600 mm model is optimized for large-size production and compatible with A, C, and B flute profiles only.
We hope this specification helps you learn about the AGICO PAPER automatic and semi-automatic 2-ply corrugated board production line to help you select the right model.

In a 2-ply corrugated line, raw paper rolls are continuously fed into the system, formed into flutes, bonded with liner paper, and then cut and stacked. This process enables stable and efficient production of single-face corrugated board for packaging and protective applications.
Cost-Effective Production
Compared with complete corrugated board production lines, AGICO PAPER’s 2-ply corrugated line requires less investment and provides an economical solution for single-face corrugated board production.
Easy Operation
With a compact structure and simplified production process, the 2-ply corrugated line is easy to operate and maintain. It is suitable for factories requiring efficient single-face board production with simple operation and maintenance.
Multiple Solution Options
AGICO PAPER offers flexible solutions from semi-automatic to fully automatic 2-ply corrugated lines. You can choose the suitable configuration based on your production capacity, budget, and automation requirements.
AGICO PAPER 2 Ply corrugated line produces a single-face corrugated board with excellent shock resistance and forming versatility. These corrugated cardboards are widely used in the industry and commercial packaging sector.
Surface Protection
Relying on the smooth surface of single-faced corrugated board helps prevent scratches and surface abrasion when packaging furniture and auto parts. It is an ideal choice for surface protection of high-value products.
Cushion & Separator Boards
Depending on the compressive elasticity of corrugated flutes, this two-layer corrugated board production line produces corrugated board that can be used as anti-collision separators between metal parts and precision machinery. This helps prevent product deformation and dents during transport.
Industrial Divider Pads
Single-face corrugated board is widely used as a protective floor covering on construction sites. Its corrugated structure absorbs impact and provides a physical barrier that protects hardwood floors and floor tiles from paint, liquid spills, and scratches.
