The 7-ply corrugated board making machine is a heavy-duty industrial automated corrugating system for the corrugated board production line. This corrugator line can produce 7-layer high-strength composite cardboard, and the 7-ply corrugated board structure consists of: outer liner, fluting medium, intermediate liner, fluting medium, intermediate liner, fluting medium, and inner liner. With flexible configuration options, this line can support different corrugated board production requirements.
This 7-ply automatic corrugator machine produces the board with high edge crush strength and excellent cushioning performance. It can prevent the box from deforming when stacked for a long time. The 7-ply corrugated line is widely used for 7-ply corrugated box applications. For example, heavy machinery, automotive components, and large appliances in heavy-duty packaging applications.
Working Principle and Process Flow of 7-Ply Corrugator Line
The working process of a 7-ply corrugated board production line is similar to that of the 3-ply corrugated line and the 5-ply corrugated line. The process uses corrugating rolls to form the medium and a glue machine to bond the liner and medium. Then, by laminating, heating, pressing, slitting, and stacking, the corrugated board is produced.
But there is a difference: the triple-wall corrugator line uses multiple single-facer machines and multiple lamination processes. During the lamination process, this line needs a stronger pressure system and more precise temperature control. These features help to reduce bonding failures and blistering.
