A 5-ply automatic corrugation plant uses two single-facer machine units to produce two single-face webs independently. Then, two single-face webs are bonded with a glue machine and are used with a double-facer machine for heat setting. Eventually, this process produces the double-wall corrugated board.

First, simultaneous forming by two single-facer units
The first single-facer machine forms the corrugating medium into flutes and sticks it onto the outer liner, making the first single-face web. Meanwhile, the second single-facer machine forms the second corrugating medium into flutes and sticks it onto the center liner, making the second single-face web.
Second, overhead conveyor and preheating
The two single-face webs are transported through the bridge and preheated to ensure stable lamination.
Third, double-backer operation
The two single-faced webs are bonded, heated, and laminated in the corrugator double backer. Then it forms a complete double-wall corrugated board.
Finally, board delivery
The laminated cardboard undergoes curing, slitting, cutting, and stacking, producing the double-wall corrugated board meeting demands.
